Hog Football scrapbook page

Brace yourself, I did NOT use my cricut for this layout!  I know, shocker!

I had taken so many pictures at this game that I needed to make the page as simple as possible to make room for as many pictures as possible.

This was our first ever Hog Football Game, which if you live in Arkansas that's unbelievable!  I was little excited and a little camera happy.  LOL!

Hope ya'll enjoy!  Feel free to leave a comment. =)

Thanks Snow Much card

I made this thank you card for a Christmas present that my son received.  I used the When It's Cold Outside cricut cartridge.  I also used stickles and my i-rock tool on the snowflake.

The twine was Baker's Twine from Michaels and the sentiment was from my NEW My Pink Stamper Winter Punnies stamp set!  I also used my cuttlebug for the snowflake embossing.

Preschool Christmas Treat Bags

I made 50 of these for my son's preschool Christmas party.  I used the Smiley Card cartridge on my Gypsy.

Here is the "stickle" process of the little packages.  I had to lock my door to keep my son's little fingers away from them!  LOL!

Here's the finished product.  I thought they turned out so cute!

Finally, they were all boxed up and ready for delivery to the preschool.
Now that's a lot of treat bags!

Please leave me a comment, I love reading what everyone has to say.

Christmas Treat Bag 1

I made 20 of these for the kids at my work.  I went with the candy cane theme because we had the "scratch and sniff" candy cane bookmarks that they LOVED!
I used the Very Merry Tags cricut cartridge for the Santa Clause and the Stocking.

Holiday Craziness!

I just wanted to catch everyone up.  Like most of you my life has been CRAZY with the holidays.  I just wanted to give you a glimpse of how horribly unorganized and dysfunctional my craft room became during this holiday time.

It's okay, you can laugh.  I certainly did!

Teachers' Christmas Treat Box

I LOVE how these treat boxes turned out!  I bought the boxes from Hobby Lobby.  Inside, they are divided into four sections.  I put all different flavors of kisses in one section.  I put two different types of cookies in the other two sections, and I put cake balls in the last section. I then let my son deliver each box to each of his teachers (he has 8) all by himself!  They LOVED it!

"Love Bug" Scrapbook Page

To finish up the scrapbooking of our family re-takes, I wanted to make a fall theme.  I used Simply Charmed cartridge for the Love Bug and the hearts.  I also used my 1 oz orange stickles that I purchased at Michaels on black Friday!  They were a 3 pack for $6.99!  I think I'm addicted to stickles!
My son is so cuddly and lovable just like me!  That's why I titled this page Love Bug!
I also attempted using the Glassy Accents for the heart in the bottle cap affect.  I'm not sure about it yet.  I'll have to experiment some more with it.

"Get Well Soon" Scrapbook Page

No cricut used (again) for this one.  My brain wasn't exactly being creative at this time.  I think it was around lunch and I was getting hungry. LOL!

This was the first time my son had needed to stay home sick for this season.  His medicine had kicked in and knocked him out!

"Prince Charming" Scrapbook Page

Since I had so much NEW scrapbook "candy" to play with, my wonderful hubby gave me a kid-free day of scrapbooking!  I was a scrapbooking FOOL!

I used my new "B is for Boy" cricut lite cartridge.  These were some of our family re-takes.  I LOVE when our photographer does the kissing photos.  She is awesome and happens to be a close friend! =)  I applied some bling to the crown.  I love black and white pictures with just a touch of color.  I wanted it to be beautiful but a little masculine, too.  I love how it turned out! =)

Black Friday Finds

I'm not a big shopper, but when there is an AWESOME sale on scrapbooking "candy" I'm game!  So, my mom and I met at 4:30 A.M. (I'm so not a morning person either).  Our first stop was Wal-mart to stock up on some cricut lite cartridges.  They were out of the new ones but they honored the price on some of the old ones.  So, I got the Block Party and B is for Boy!  Then we were in line (if was 25 degrees outside) for Michael's to open.  We literally RAN into the store when the doors opened!  At 60% off who wouldn't RUN?!  I got the Winter Frolic and Boys Will Be Boys cartridges.  I had saved the Michaels gift cards from my birthday (everyone in my family got me one) so lucky I was able to use two of them!  My wonderful mother bought me the Tinkerbell and the Dreams Come True cartridges ($19.99 each) for Christmas!  Unfortunately, I can't open them UNTIL Christmas!  Then, off to Hobby Lobby I went (after dropping mom off), they had their cricut cartridges AND accessories 50% OFF!  There, I stocked up on Toy Story, Simpy Charmed, and Wrap It up cartridges!  I also got a rain check for the Sesame Street Seasons cartridge!  I was so excited that I woke my husband up squealing about my new cartridges!  I had to show him everyone!
While at Hobby Lobby I also got some new mats and replacement blades for my cricut - all at 50% off!  Needless to say, my Black Friday was a HUGE success! =)

Summer Paradise Scrapbook Page

I wanted to document my own personal "summer paradise".  I was going through pictures to scrap and I came across this one from this past summer.  I LOVE a day when my husband is at work, my son is at school, and I can float in the pool with a soda and great book!
I didn't use the cricut for this page.  (I know, shocking!)  I did use stickles for the FIRST time, and I think I'm in love!

"HAMM" Card

I made this card as a Thank You to a friend that took our family pictures this year.  She loves pigs.  I cut the pig and "HAMM" from my new Toy Story cartridge.  The background circle was cut form the Accent Essentials cartridge.  She LOVED it!

Halloween Treat Bags

I made 50 of these treat bags for my son's preschool class.  I used a stamp from "My Favorite Things" and the border punch is a spider web around the page punch from Martha Stewart.

Teachers' Halloween Treat Bags

For every holiday party at my son's school, I make treat bags for each one of the teachers and a different treat bag for every child.  This is what I came up with for his teachers this year.

I used the Broom treat bag set from Martha Stewart.  I then stamped a sentiment from the My Favorite Things stamp set.  I then stuffed it with plenty of chocolate to help them through the day of parties!  Hope they enjoy!

MPS Live Color Challenge

For this challenge, we were suppose to use pink, purple, and green.  Also, we were suppose to make our projects in 30 minutes or less.

My background paper is a pale green.  I used lavender to matte my pictures and I brought the color pink in with the flowers.  With a little boy, I don't use much pink and purple, but this was a nice change.
In our house, we have a picnic every Friday night.  I put an old quilt down and we sit in front of the television and watch a Disney movie as  a family.  My son looks forward to our picnics every week! =)

"Paw" Thank You Card Set

I needed to make a set of Thank You cards for my work.  I used the "Cracks" border punch by Martha Stewart and a paw punch from - I'm not sure.

I made a set of 10 Thank You cards.

"Bounce..." Scrapbook Page

This page was a cricut-less page!  I know, SHOCKING!  I did use my iRock tool, though, for the very first time!  I actually broke it and had to get a new one, too. :(

I bought the bounce house embellishment from michael's specifically for this page.  I thought it turned out very sweet. :)

Happy Birthday Cupcake Card

I wanted this card to be shimmery!  So I used glitter paper for the cupcake.  I used the Sweet Treats (one of my faves) cartridge for the cupcake.  I used Martha Stewart's Loopy All Around The Page punch for the border.  I made this card in about 15 minutes!
Now I'm off to take care of my sick little boy.  Hope everyone has a great evening! =)

4WD Scrapbook Page

I used the Camp Out cartridge for this layout.  I was going to cut out the 4-wheeler from that cartridge but decided to just cut the 4-wheeler tracks instead.  I was wanting to make this page very simple.  I then too some Thickers that were the wrong color and embossed them with yellow distressed embossing powder.  ENJOY!

Thank You card

I needed to make a Thank You card for a co-worker.  My husband was called into work so I really needed to throw it together FAST!  I had mistakenly cut the "Thank You" too large for a previous card.  Like a good scrapper, I kept it!  So I pulled out my scraps and went to creating!  I had this adorable polka dot ribbon so I "cheater" styled it three times around my white layer.  The punch is the loopy punch from Martha Stewart.  I added the flower for a little feminine touch.  And POOF it was done and I had time to put my son to bed on time!  ENJOY!
Cartridge used: Wild Card (for the "Thank You")
