Thank You card

I needed to make a Thank You card for a co-worker.  My husband was called into work so I really needed to throw it together FAST!  I had mistakenly cut the "Thank You" too large for a previous card.  Like a good scrapper, I kept it!  So I pulled out my scraps and went to creating!  I had this adorable polka dot ribbon so I "cheater" styled it three times around my white layer.  The punch is the loopy punch from Martha Stewart.  I added the flower for a little feminine touch.  And POOF it was done and I had time to put my son to bed on time!  ENJOY!
Cartridge used: Wild Card (for the "Thank You")
Signature 2

Helicopter Thank You!

My son had surgery in June and right outside his hospital room window was the helicopter pad. He was very insistent on flying the helicopter! Since he couldn't sit in the helicopter I thought I would go buy him a replica in the gift shop. Unfortunately, they didn't have one! The lady in the gift shop heard my story and picked up the phone. She asked me his name and room number. A few minutes later the flight crew showed up in his room!!! Better yet, they took him to the helicopter! He was allowed to sit in every seat, tour the control center, try on the helmets, and talk on the radio! So, I made this card as a thank you to the crew because they were so wonderful with him! I also sent them pictures of the tour. They made a bummer experience FABULOUS!! =) I cut the Thank you from the Wild Card cartridge.

MPS's NSD Challenge #9

This challenge was to make a shaped card, shaped scrapbook page, or shaped project.
With graduation coming up, I decided to make a graduation card. Since I work at a high school I know of several graduates! Therefore, I made a card in our school colors. I cut the graduation cap card using the Wild Card cricut cartridge.
