"Hippo-ka-bob-a-bus" Scrapbook Page

My last scrapbook page of the holiday weekend was a special one.

Last week my son (3 1/2) learned how to say "hippopotamus" but instead of saying it correctly, he said "Hippo-ka-bob-a-bus"!  It is so adorable!
I had some of those recordable devices for scrapbook pages, so I recorded him.  Then I took a picture of him heading off to school the next morning.  This is a page I will cherish for ever, and my son will probably kill me when he turns 16.  LOL!

Cartridges used: Create A Critter and Keystone

"Study Buddy" Scrapbook Page

Obviously, I was a VERY busy scrapper this holiday weekend!  I got so much accomplished, but like everyone else, I'm no where near being caught up!

I have returned to college to obtain my Math Teaching Liscense.  When I need to study, my little man always wants to help!  I was able to snap a few pictures during our "study" session! =)
Cartridges used: Locker Talk, Mickey Font, and Pooh and Friends.  I also used the numbers cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss the title.

"Game Night" Scrapbook Page

I don't know about all of you, but my family has "Game Night" often.  Especially during the winter when no one wants to venture out in the cold, yucky weather!

Usually my parents come over and we play until the early morning hours.  For this page, we were playing a (several) game of Spades.  My son ALWAYS wants to join in the fun! =)
Cartridge used: Keystone (for the title)

Baby Boy Card

I LOVE baby boy cards!  It takes me back to my pregnancy and how much I loved the anticipation of meeting my little man!

Okay, okay, back to Earth!
Cartridges used:  Accent Esssentials, Graphically Speaking, Gypsy Wanderings, and New Arrivals.

Princess Card

This card was for a challenge that I didn't make in time. =(  On the bright side, I had a little girl's birthday party to go to the following weekend, so it all worked out. =)

I have a little boy, so princess isn't really in my vocabulary.  LOL! But here we go:
Cartridges used:  Accent Essentials (for the card shape), Create a Critter, and Sweet Treats.

Papa & Me Scrapbook Page

It was very important to me to make this layout very special.  My father-in-law is not in very many pictures, and certainly not with a smile.  The picture of my son and him smiling at each other was so precious to my husband and me.
I used the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge for the font and the Just Because Cards cartidge for the oak tree and swing.  This layout was simple but that's how my father-in-law is, SIMPLE! =)

Frog Huntin' Scrapbook Page

Here is a quick scrapbook page.  My son went frog hunting for the first time with some of his friends we were camping with!
I used the Winnie the Pooh Font cartridge for the title.  I used the frog from the Sweethearts cartridge for the "o" in Frog.
