Get Well Soon!

I made this card for a friend that just had surgery.  Her entire family is involved in the rodeo, so I new she would love this horse!  I cut the horse from the Create A Critter cartridge and the yellow background was cut from the Accent Essentials cartridge.  I can't remember the exact size of the card (I made it in May), but it fit in a business size envelope.  I made it long in order to place a gift certificate inside.  She LOVED it, along with the gift certificate! =)

ATG!!!!!

Oh my goodness!  I can't believe I finally own an ATG gun!  I went to Michaels last week (just to look around) and BAM! I walked right into a display of ATG guns!  To make matters even better, I had a 40% coupon!!!  So I grabbed the gun and RAN to the register.  With my coupon it was only $21!  I'm so super excited (can you tell) and it's PINK!  I sent my hubby in the next day and we both used a 40% coupon to buy some refill tape, too!  LOL!

Update

Just a little update. I know it has been a while since I posted anything, but life has been CRAZY. I'm off work for the summer vacation, finally. YAY! Currently, my son, 3 years old, had surgery last week. Our house has been insane preparing for the hospital stay and now the recovery. I'm hoping we can get in the scrapbooking room and create while we are home together for the next two weeks. I have several ideas jumping around in my head so I'm ready to start creating! Also, I just got the new Carousel Lite Cartridge! HOORAY!! Looking forward to posting something SOON! Have a fabulous week everyone! =)

Wedding Cards

A friend of mine asked me to make her two wedding cards.
For this card, I cut the glasses from the Stretch Your Imagination cricut cartridge. I added some bling on the bows. For this card, I cut the flowers from the Paper Doll Dress Up cricut cartridge. I cut the bow, the was cut from the cartridge, off. I added a ribbon in place of the bow.

Another Mother's Day Card

A friend of mine's son asked me to make his mom a Mother's Day card as a surprise to her. Her favorite color is pink and she collects decorative crosses. I didn't use any cartridges. I used a few pink prima flowers and put a bling brad in the center. She loved it and was surprised that her son took notice that I made cards. He also had pink roses delivered to her at work! He earned great brownie points! =)

Mother's Day Cards

A friend asked me to make her some Mother's Day cards for her mom and mother-in-law.
For her mother's card I used the Tim Holtz distresser on the pink layer. Since she is a quilter, I sewed a zigzag on the pink layer. I cut the spool of thread and needle from the Happily Ever After cricut cartridge. For her mother-in-law's card I used the Walk In My Garden cricut cartridge. Since she loves to garden, I cut the wheel barrel and filled it with some prima flowers.

Mother-in-Law's Day Card

I made this card for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. She loves the rusty earth tone colors. She is also the "Cook" in the family. She knows the way to our hearts is through her recipes! YUMMY!!I cut the pie from the Just Because Cards cricut cartridge. I used the Martha Stewart's doily punch. I got the fibers from Hobby Lobby and the pearls from Michaels. She LOVED it! =)
