MPS's NSD Challenge #5

For this challenge you were suppose to create something for Teacher Appreciation Week OR for someone you appreciate. Therefore, I created a card for each one of my son's preschool teachers - he has eight of them!I cut the school house from the My Community cricut cartridge. I will put a full size Hershey bar in each of their cards to help them get through a tough day of preschoolers! I'm always making goody bags for them because we appreciate them ssssooooo much!

Thanks for the challenge because I didn't realize Teacher Appreciation day was next week! I would have felt horrible if I didn't recognize my son's wonderful teachers! =)

MPS's NSD Challenge #4

This challenge was titled "I Like You The Least". For this challenge you were to make a project using your least favorite or least used cartridge.












I remember just HAVING TO HAVE the Life's A Beach cartridge because we spend so much time on the water during the summer months. Unfortunately, I've had the cartridge for over a year and have NEVER used it! So, I dusted it off, along with my summer pictures, and created a page of my husband teaching our 2 year old how to kneeboard. ENJOY!

MPS's NSD Challenge #3

For this challenge, we were suppose to "Think Outside The Box". Therefore we needed to do something on our projects that we normally would not do. Well, I have several background stamps that I do not use. I've seen several bloggers make their own backgrounds with these stamps so I thought I would give it a try.
I just bought this stamp yesterday at Hobby Lobby. I stamped it with embossing ink on a scrap of cream cardstock and embossed it with black powder. Then I just used some glittered red letter stickers I picked up at Michaels during Christmas-time. Enjoy!

MPS's NSD Challenge #2

For this challenge, I had to us scraps to create my project. I had a little trouble getting all my colors to coordinate, but I eventually figured it out.
I made this card for my grandmother for Mother's Day. I cut the wheel-barrel from the Walk In My Garden cricut cartridge. She LOVES gardening so I figure she will really enjoy this card.

Now on to the next challenge!

MPS's NSD Challenge #1

My Pink Stamper's NSD Challenge #1 required a card or layout for your mother or a special someone close to your heart. Well, I needed to make Mother's Day cards for all the mothers in our family this weekend, so I thought this was the perfect challenge!
I made this card for my mother. She loves the color red so I chose the ladybug on the Paisley Cricut cartridge.
Check back for my projects for the rest of the MPS's challenges today! I've never participated in her NSD festivities and I've been looking forward to today all week!

My Pink Stamper Challenge

My Pink Stamper has issued a challenge, and I accepted (of course). =) For this challenge I had to use the colors Pink, Green, and Black. The first thing I thought about was some black and white family photos that were taken last fall. I LOVE green and pink, especially together, so this was a GREAT challenge!















For this page, I used some DCWV paper along with some scraps I had (I don't know from who). For the pink and tan accent with the ribbon I used the Accent Essential cricut cartridge. For the "Precious" I used the Graphically Speaking cricut cartridge. The "Cherish" stick came from a "Me & My Big Ideas Soft Spoken" embellishment pack. I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I enjoyed scrapping it! =)

Easter Treats

These are the treats I made for my son's Easter party at his preschool. There are 48 children and 8 teachers so I was a VERY busy lady!
For these "sour cream container" treats I used the Mini Monograms cricut cartridge for the circle and scallop circle. The bunny stamp was an old stamp I had in my collection. This containers can hold a lot of candy! I think we (my son and I) were able to put one laffy taffy and five starburst inside for the kiddos. YUMMY! =)For the teachers' treats I used the "Walk In My Garden" cricut cartridge for the clay pot and the "Doodlecharms" cartridge for the eggs. I then used a stamp for the Easter saying on top. I also put the homemade bookmarks inside their treat bags. For the bookmarks I just used a jumbo size paper clip, about three primas of different size, and a brad. I think they turned out cute! =)
